Nicole Van Hyfte from Vermilion Advantage says there is double good news about the small business grants available from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The first good news is, some Vermilion County establishments have received some of the first awarded grants.
AUDIO: Turtle Run got $40,000, the Vermilion County Museum Society got $25,000, and the Dwight Allen Salon got $5,000.
Van Hyfte says, the second good news is, if you have not applied for assistance for your small business, please do, but you have about a week left.
