Balloons Over Vermilion returns in just over two weeks to the Vermilion Regional Airport. Event co-chair Jim Anderson says it feels good to be back….
As the event draws closer, Anderson says they are still looking for some good volunteers….

Co-chair Pat O’Shaughnessy credits local balloonists Larry Owen, Dean Carlton and a few others with the return of a balloon event to Danville after 15 years where there was no event….
Anderson says there will be pilots from several states participating in this year’s Balloons Over Vermilion which takes place Friday, July 13th and Saturday, July 14th at the Vermilion Regional Airport.
