Danville Fire Chief Don McMasters says the investigation is continuing into the cause of the Tuesday, October 12th fire at 501 N. Grant Street. All occupants of the single family, two-story home escaped injury, and two firefighters were treated at the scene for heat exhaustion. The damage is estimated at $25,000, in addition to all of the contents in the home. The alarm was first received at 4:45 PM, and two fire units were on the scene for three hours, while investigators were on the scene for five hours.
