These robins camped outside Danville’s North Griffin Street fire station Thursday may have been wondering if they are in the wrong city. But the fact they were there brings hope that spring is coming.
And these birds and others around our area should be a lot happier by Sunday when temperatures are expected to climb into the low 50’s. Monday is expected to be near 60 with a chance of rain. And although there will still be a chance of rain on Tuesday – daytime high temperatures are expected to be near 50.
The milder conditions represent a swing in temperatures of some 65 degrees from what we have experienced this week. And when you consider the wind chill readings we have been experiencing this week – it will feel about 100 degrees warmer on Sunday!
