Vermilion County Sheriff’s Police have arrested a Danville man – who was already in jail – on charges of solicitation of murder for hire. Sheriff’s Captain Michael Hartshorn says an investigator from the department uncovered a plot where 23-year-old Bradley Servis was attempting to have the victim in his case killed.
Servis (shown here) has been in custody at the Public Safety Building on charges of arson, criminal damage to property, and hate crime since October 1, 2018. Hartshorn says Servis made an agreement with an undercover agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to commit the murder for an undisclosed amount of money.
Servis remains confined after his bond was set at $1.5 million dollars.
