The City of Danville has released a “Mayoral Emergency Declaration for the purpose of conducting City Council meetings via remote electronic conferencing.”
Until further notice, starting with the Tuesday, December 21st City Council meeting, all full City Council and committee meetings will be conducted via videoconferencing, with the link available on the city website’s frontpage the day of the meeting, at www.cityofdanville.org.
Anyone wishing to provide public comment at a meeting will need to submit them via email by 4:30 PM the day of the meeting to cityclerk@cityofdanville.org.
This precaution is due to the spread of the COVID-19 Omicron variant throughout the Danville region in recent weeks. This is until further notice.
