Changes are continuing involving Logan Avenue in Danville. With Logan no longer being a through street due to the construction of the Carle at the Riverfront Medical Campus, the traffic lights at Logan and West Main are being decommissioned. They will no longer be in service starting Monday, January 10th; and the signals will be covered for a 90-day period before being permanently removed. Stop signs will be installed for Logan Avenue traffic at the West Main intersection.
The City of Danville has confirmed that Logan will remain open from Main to North Street. Therefore, traffic leaving the new OSF Urgent Care Center, desiring to go east on Main Street but not wanting to make the left turn, will have the option of turning right on Logan and right North Street, and then heading for the traffic signal at Gilbert to turn right and return to Main Street.
