The City of Danville is preparing to embark on this year’s seal coat program for certain city streets. Members of the City Council’s Public Works Committee reviewed a map at their meeting last evening (Tuesday, April 9th) showing the areas where the work is planned.
Community Development Director David Schnelle noted…
Some of the streets slated to get the improvements include Gilbert Street north of Fairchild, Seminary from Gilbert to Griffin, and parts of Michigan, Bowman, Woodlawn, Columbia and numerous other streets.
The Public Works Committee of the Danville City Council recommended last night (Tuesday) that the $551-thousand dollar contract be awarded to DMS Contracting.
