Hoopeston Man Loses Life in Monday Route 1 Accident

A Monday afternoon accident on Route 1 and County Road 4000 North between Rossville and Hoopeston claimed the life of a Hoopeston man.  Thirty-three year old Charlie Dickerson III was identified as the victim by the Coroner’s office.  A female passenger was reportedly taken to an area hospital.  State Police stated that the accident occurred at approximately the same location as a double-fatal accident earlier in February.
