As we’ve mentioned this week, May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and one of many events scheduled to help anyone learn more about what Mental Health First Aid is and why it’s needed takes place at State Rep Mike Marron’s office in Rantoul tomorrow. He told us this is a chance for people to learn what to do when seeing others in certain situations.
AUDIO: So the idea was to have this networking event to where, especially we could raise awareness with municipalities that this training is available out there; and trying to help get as many people with these tools out in the public as we can get.
