Danville City Council members have approved an intergovernmental agreement with The Housing Authority of Danville to demolish six buildings at Fair Oaks. Aldermen also approved vacating some right-of-way in the Fair Oaks area to help the Housing Authority enforce a trespassing ban.
Alderman Mike Puhr says the vote should help solve some problems in that area….
City of Danville Public Works crews will be used to demolish six buildings in the Fair Oaks area. The Housing Authority will pay the City of Danville up to $110-thousand dollars for the work.
