The Vermilion County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that around 10:20 PM Wednesday, May 11th; a vehicle was found in Lake Vermilion with a body inside the vehicle. A private dive team discovered the vehicle, and contacted the Vermilion County Sheriff’s dive team. The Sheriff’s office says the vehicle was found on the west side of Lake Vermilion, south of the boat ramp, along the shoreline between the boat ramp and the cemetery.
