Chicago Power indoor arena football is coming to the David S Palmer Arena again this Saturday. And this time the Power are playing against the Central Illinois Royals for the league championship. The Palmer Arena’s Joe Dunagan says the last time the Power played in Danville, they couldn’t wait to do it again.
AUDIO: I know after the game they were excited about it. They were looking forward to being here again. They enjoyed playing here. We’d love to have one heck of a crowd for them as they battle for this championship.
Dunagan also says, this is not a recreational league; but big time athletes ready to show what they can do.
AUDIO: Four 15 minutes quarters, continuous clock; it’s a fast paced game. These guys are big, they’re fast, they’re strong, and they hit.
In addition, May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the Chicago Power are making Saturday’s game a special Mental Health Awareness Night. Box Office opens at 4:30 Saturday, the doors open at 5:30, and the game’s at 6:30.
