A 26-year-old Danville man was reported in ‘critical’ condition after he was reportedly shot while attending a party. Deputy Chief Joshua Webb of the Danville Police Criminal Investigation Division says officers found the victim outside after responding to the Untouchables Motorcycle Club in the 100 block of Commercial Street. It was shortly before 1:00 a.m. that officers arrived there.

Webb says the initial investigation found that the victim was attending a party at the club when another man approached and started firing shots at the victim. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. He was described as a black male wearing dark clothing and armed with a handgun.
The name of the victim has not been released. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment (and was last reported to be in critical condition). Police add they received no other reports of injuries in the incident.
The investigation into the shooting continues and no other information is being released at this time.
