ISP Announces Results of Recent “Click It of Ticket” Campaign in Vermilion County

Illinois State Police have released numbers from the recent Occupant Restraint Enforcement Patrols conducted in Vermilion County.  This project, funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation, allowed for extra patrol coverage for the Illinois State Police in order to focus on saving lives by making sure all vehicle occupants are buckled up.  In Vermilion County; 29 Safety Belt Citations were issued, one Child Restraint Citation, 37 total citations, and 11 written warnings.  The Illinois State Police reminds everyone that lives can be saved if people simply buckle up.
