New DACC Scholarship Endowed by Joe and Juanita Rottmann

(ABOVE) Joe Rottmann (second from left) and his wife Juanita recently endowed a scholarship at Danville Area Community College to support working students as well as those engaged in extracurricular activities like intercollegiate athletics. The scholarship is called “Ginkgo Biloba” in honor of the Rottmann family’s favorite species of tree. Joe’s career included more than 27 years as a senior guidance counselor at Danville High. Juanita was an elementary-school teacher for Danville schools. Their son Joe and their daughter-in-law Jennifer are both DACC graduates.
