THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE RELEASE
Danville, IL- The Vermilion County Coroner, Jane McFadden stated that a two vehicle accident that occurred early Sunday, October 2, 2022on Catlin-Indianola Road in Indianola claimed the lives of Lee J. Hall, age 52, Felisha J. Hall, age 46, and their daughter, Madison G. Hall age 18 all of Oxford, Indiana.
Autopsies are is scheduled for tomorrow. The Vermilion County Sheriff’s Office, the Illinois State Police and the Vermilion County Coroner’s office continue to investigate.
THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE RELEASE
The Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two–vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday, October 2 at 12:02AM at the intersection of Catlin–Indianola Road and County Road 550 North. A Chevrolet Silverado towing an enclosed car trailer was traveling northbound in the northbound lane of Catlin–Indianola Road when a GMC Sierra, traveling southbound on Catlin–Indianola Road, came into the northbound lane and struck the Silverado head–on. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and caught fire as a result of the crash. The Silverado was occupied by 3 people, ages 52,46, and 18. All 3 occupants died at the scene. The GMC was occupied by 1 person, a 45 year old male, who was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. The crash remains under investigation and no further details can be released at this time.
