Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup is releasing the identity of a male victim who has died after he was reportedly shot during a family party
that occurred on the evening of October 4, 2022, in the 1100 block of NorthThird Street in Champaign, Illinois.
Rashaud S. Weatherall, age 25, of Danville, Illinois was pronounced dead at 6:09 PM on October 4, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital in the Emergency Room. An autopsy will be conducted on Thursday, October 6. This incident is under investigation by the Champaign Police Department and the coroner’s office.
