THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL RELEASE
Danville School District 118 is proud to announce their collaboration with OSF Healthcare, Carle Clinic and Danville Area Community College in bringing the 2022 Medical Career Fair to Danville High School. This event will be Thursday, October 27th in the Danville High School field house from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.
There will be 21 different medical fields that will be presenting to our 11th and 12th grade, Danville High School and Kenneth D. Bailey Academy students. Each student will receive an opportunity to get a free treat from Kona Ice after visiting 3 stations.
This collaboration is in hopes of a bigger effort to help our students learn about the different medical careers in the Danville community. Not only will they learn about the different careers, they will also be able to make a first-hand connection with the professionals in the industry.
There will also be opportunities for the students to apply for volunteer opportunities to add to their experience. Over 60 Danville High School and Kenneth D. Bailey Academy 11th and 12th grade students who are interested in the medical field have filled out professional resumes. These resumes will be presented to the medical professionals at the career fair to be considered for future opportunities for our students.
