Danville has their Night of Lights Parade ready to roll Friday Evening (Dec 2nd) at 6 PM. Danville Community Relations Administrator Ashton Greer says it is starting at 6, but you may want to get into position a little early, especially if you’d like to hear the announcements as each float passes by from Mayor Rickey Williams, Jr.
AUDIO: So if you want to get a good seat, maybe come downtown a little bit early and get settled in along Vermilion. It runs from Williams all the way to Main, heading south down Vermilion Street. The announcements will be taking place at the Fischer. The mayor will be under the marquis, announcing as each float goes by.
The Night of Lights Parade will wrap up a full 2022 calendar of First Fridays events each month in Downtown Danville.
