THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
Danville Firefighters were called out to a structure fire Friday night December 9th. The fire department was notified of a structure fire at 605 Douglas Street. The fire department was notified of a fire at 1:37 A.m.
Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved structure. Firefighters used multiple hose lines to control the fire. A search was conducted and no one was found inside the home.
Later reports indicated everyone was outside the home.
Ameren was notified due to a downed power line in the yard of the home. Ameren also shut off the gas to the residence.
The home is considered a complete loss. Value estimates are $35,000.oo in damages.
Firefighters remained on scene until 4:23 a.m.
Fire cause remains under investigation by the Danville Fire Department.
