News story here.
The Danville Public Library is rolling with programs to keep kids and families reading this winter. The Winter Reading Program runs through January 31st, as Katie Anderson and Jessica Augustson recently visited Tommy B on D102’s The Big Show.
AUDIO: We use a program called Beanstack. If you just go to our website, danvillepubliclibrary.org, there will be a banner at the top. Click on it, and it will take you to the website to register for Beanstack. You just kind of log your minutes. And parents, when you’re reading to your kids, you get to count it twice. First for your kids, then for yourself.
You can also come into the Danville Public Library and ask at the service desk about the Winter Reading Program; or other programs, such as the parent and child book group, “Goosebumps.”
