Danville Police say a 25-year-old city man was shot in a leg during a drive-by shooting Tuesday afternoon (November 12, 2019). Police responded to the area of Fowler and English Street on a report of shots fired around 4:30 p.m. They found the victim who said he was walking in the area when someone started shooting at him from a passing vehicle.
Police Commander Joshua Webb says the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening wounds. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
