THE FOLLOWING IS A SALT FORK SCHOOL DISTRICT RELEASE
Darin Chambliss (Salt Fork High School Principal) and Dustin Dees (Salt Fork High School Assistant Principal) have received the High School Principal of the Year award and Assistant Principal of the Year award from the Illini Region of the Illinois Principals Association. The Illini Region comprises Champaign, Coles, Douglas, Edgar, and Vermilion Counties.
Mr. Chambliss is in his 8th year as principal at Salt Fork High School, having previously served as an administrator and teacher in the Danville School District and as a teacher at Georgetown-Ridge Farm. Mr. Dees is in his 3rd year as assistant principal/athletic director at Salt Fork High School, having previously served as a teacher at Tuscola and Bismarck-Henning and as an athletic director and teacher in the Decatur Public School District.
