This week’s rescue of a dog by Danville Firefighters has a company wanting to help in case something like that happens again. Acting Fire Chief Don McMasters says a company which manufactures masks designed to administer oxygen to small animals is donating three of the masks to the Danville Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived on the scene of a blaze on December 1st and found the family living there was safely outside, but their dog was still inside. Firefighters rescued the dog and were able to revive it.
