THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce a complete roadway closure on Lafayette Street west of Gilbert Street. A Contractor has requested the closure to install sanitary
and water service lines that will require a complete roadway closure to all through traffic on Lafayette Street.
The line installations are scheduled to start on Thursday, February 23, 2023 and will be completed by 4:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023. Signage will be in place in advance of the roadway closure and motorist should chose alternate routes.
