Fish Dinners at Catlin American Legion – (104 Commercial St, Catlin) Fish basket $7, Shrimp basket $7, Shrimp & Fish basket $8 (all baskets with coleslaw & beans); 5-8PM.
Lenten Fish Fry at Knights of Columbus – (310 Bryan Ave, Danville) Menu of fish or chicken strips for $8 or breaded shrimp for $9. The meal will include French fries, coleslaw, bread & coffee; 5:30-7:00PM. Children under 12 are $4.
The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” – All Weekend – (214 E. Main, Hoopeston) Show time: Friday 7PM; Saturday 7PM; Sunday 3PM. Friday is pizza night with Pizza & a Movie for $10. Movie Admission is $5 Adults & $2 Children. All proceeds fund the Lorraine Theatre restoration.

Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team “Paws for a Cause Cookout” at Hoopeston VFW – (428 W. Orange St, Hoopeston) Dinner from 5-7PM featuring choice of Hamburger, Cheeseburger, or Hot Dog with baked beans, choice of potato salad or chips & a dessert. Adults are $8 in advance, or $10 at the door, Children (10 & under) are $4 in advance or $5 at the door. Purchase tickets at the Hoopeston Shelter, 901 W. Main or at the door. Entertainment from the DJ Rockin’ Roy Kohl from 7-10PM. There will also be a raffle, 50/50 drawing & a silent auction.

The Fischer Theatre Presents the Farm Film “SILO”– (158 N. Vermilion, Danville) This film is inspired by true events and tells the story of an 18 year old who falls victim to a grain entrapment incident; Film showing at 3PM. Though not rated, the film is appropriate for farm families & first responders with recommendations to have discussions with those younger than 10 about the mature content of an entrapment scene. Safety displays will be set up prior to the film & doors will open at 2PM.
