A teacher from Danville, who teaches at Heritage High School, has announced his candidacy for 15th District Congressman. Anthony March says he has been disappointed with the policies that the current Representative – John Shimkus – has pursued while in office.
‘’He has not done well protecting the environment, supporting workers, or assisting the needy,’’ says March. ‘’These are issues that are very important to me and we need to do more to increase awareness and pass legislation that will make a positive difference,’’ added March. And he says he believes the best way he can do that is to run for the House of Representatives.’’
March lives in Danville with his wife and two daughters. He has been a math and physics teacher at Heritage High School the past nine years.
