As Operation Honor Guard’s Day of Giving began early Wednesday (May 10th) morning, Neuhoff Media was fortunate enough to talk with Tom Morse, who was actually the first person Sunset Funeral Home’s Rich Darby spoke with ten years ago after noticing that the Honor Guard at a Veteran’s August funeral service could certainly use, and certainly deserved; some nice, respectable, and proper uniforms. Morse, from Danville’s American Legion Post 210, recalled the phone call with us.

PARTIAL AUDIO: Tom, could you have imagined that in ten years it would have grown to this, all the regions involved. No, it’s way beyond our expectations. People are so generous; we touch a lot of lives. A service for every Veteran is very, very important.
You can stop by Hall of Fame Plaques and Signs at 3350 North Vermilion in Danville, as well as Sunset Funeral Home in Westville, to make a donation. Remember you can also to online at https://www.operationhonorguard.us/day-of-giving/
