A newly-formed group in Westville is launching an effort to make some capital improvements at Westville’s Zamberletti Park.
Jeff Slavik, chairman of the group, says their first goal is to add new restrooms in the park in 2018. They also hope to bring a new entertainment stage to the park by 2020.
The Zamberletti Park Improvement Commission is accepting donations at Westville City Hall. And Slavik adds some members of the Commission will also be collecting donations during the up-coming Westville Labor Day Parade. He says those along the parade route will be able to easily recognize Commission members that day by the safety-yellow t-shirts they will be wearing.
Slavik adds the Commission is looking to replace the present restrooms at the park with a durable all-precast concrete building.
