Area residents are making their plans for the Labor Day Holiday weekend, and the Catlin Lions Club is inviting you to their celebration. The Club will be hosting its 3rd annual Fish Bash Street Festival on Saturday, September 2nd. The event will include food, an obstacle course, games and a dunk tank with some VIPs participating.
Representative Chad Hays and The Boat Drink Caucus will entertain with live music from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. The band will perform next to a beer garden provided by the Davis Busby Catlin American Legion Post 776.
The Catlin celebration will also include a classic car show, and a bags tournament will start at 4:00 p.m.
Funds raised by the Catlin Lions Club are used to assist people needing help with vision, hearing and diabetes diagnosis and care, as well as community projects. The club is selling raffle tickets for a drawing that will take place at 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
