It’s a busy Saturday (June 3rd) coming up for the Mosaic City Church. Pastor LeStan Hoskins and his crew will be in Garfield Park for the 3rd Annual Anti-Violence Basketball Tournament. This is for all area kindergarten through 12th graders. Forms were sent to school offices, but players can show up to Garfield Park Saturday morning and be assigned to teams upon arrival. It will be seven to ten players per team.

There will be free T-shirts for all participants; and prizes as well. Pastor LeStan Hoskins says they’ll be ready to roll at 9 AM.
AUDIO: It’s for everyone in the community, all the students in our school district and throughout Vermilion County. So we’re just trying to encourage our students to make good decisions, and we’re trying to build relationships with people in our community. Everything is free. That’s our way of giving back to the community. The shirts are free, there’s free food for everybody; there’s going to be prizes. So it’s going to be a good time for everybody to come together as a community, to love each other, and just have a good time.
Saturday will be a hot day; so yes, there will be plenty of Gatorade and water, along with tents for shade.
