A very special event organized by the Ernie Pyle World War II Museum in Dana, Indiana is happening all weekend long, day and night. Off Route 63 in Hillsdale, Indiana; at International Paper Family Park; the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall will be on display. And in addition, there will be a second structure on display as well. It’s the “Some Gave All” traveling memorial; honoring those who lost their lives on 9/11; as well as in Iraq an Afghanistan. The museum’s Becky Holbert explains.
AUDIO: So it includes the wars and conflicts that U.S. Troops were involved in between 9/11 and Afghanistan. They’re in close proximity but they’re clearly separate.
Holbert says, this will be easy to find.
AUDIO: And it’s right off of State Road 63. There are signs on the highway, on 63 and also on U.S. 36. Out on 63 there are American Flags.
