Vermilion Advantage has announced more details for its October 21st Tour of Industries. Eight local companies will be opening their doors to the public between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. that day. It is the largest number of participating companies in the history of the event.
Companies participating include:
- Automation International
- Danville Metal Stamping
- Fiberteq
- Hall of Fame Plaques and Signs by Trigard
- Thyssenkrupp Presta Camshafts
- Thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Company
- Viscofan
- Watchfire Signs
Tour guests will be required to follow safety guidelines at each location including:
- Wearing long pants only (no shorts, skirts, or dresses)
- Closed toe and closed heel shoes must be worn. Athletic or tennis shoes with rubber soles are recommended.
- No cameras or cell phone use will be allowed in the buildings.
- No jewelry should be worn during the tours.
Some companies also have additional requirements, including minimum age restrictions for children. Most minimum ages range from 7 to 10 years of age. Visitors at Fiberteq and Viscofan must be at least 16 years of age. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all other locations.
