The Women’s Care Clinic, at 1509 North Bowman in Danville, is having a special “Blessings on Blessings” event for health care workers this Friday. Health care workers from any area facility can come by and choose among a selection of free new scrubs, shoes, white coats, compression socks, and scrub accessories. Women’s Care Clinic executive director Mariah Hanson explains how this came about.
AUDIO: So the Polyclinic; when they closed they had their store, and they gifted it to Love INC. And we partnered with Love INC to just give them away. Anybody in hospitals, in nursing school, veterinarians, dentists; anybody who wears scrubs or is involved in health care is welcome to come out.
Friday’s special giveaway will be from 9 AM to 3 PM.
