Danville Police are holding a suspect in a case involving aggravated unlawful use of weapons. The 27-year-old suspect is also facing charges of criminal trespass to government supported property in the incident that occurred Saturday afternoon in the 900 block of Wakely. Other information was not immediately released.
Police also arrested a 31-year-old Danville man on preliminary charges of aggravated battery in an incident Saturday afternoon. It occurred in the 600 block of South Bowman Avenue in Danville. But again, other information was not immediately released.
And Danville Police are probing another case involving unlawful use of weapons and aggravated discharge of a firearm. The incident reportedly occurred in the 300 block of Bradley in a court yard at the Beeler Terrance Public Housing units. Other information on this incident and the other two is expected to be released on Monday.
Police in Danville also arrested a Hoopeston man early Saturday on preliminary charges of home invasion. The 29-year-old man was booked at the Public Safety Building after being arrested in an incident in the 900 block of Hubbard Lane. The suspect’s name is being withheld pending the filing of formal charges by the Vermilion County State’s Attorney’s Office.
