Indiana State Police and other law enforcement agencies are continuing an extensive investigation in their efforts to solve the earlier murders of two girls in Delphi, Indiana. Some Indiana State Police Officers probing the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German have just returned from following up on a tip in Colorado. And at this time, State Police say that ‘’thus far, there is no information developed to specifically include or exclude Daniels Nations as a suspect in the Delphi homicides.’’
Nations remains in custody in Colorado on charges totally unrelated to the killings. He had earlier been called ‘a person of interest’ in the deaths of 13-year-old Abigail Williams and 14-year-old Liberty German.
State Police, with assistance from the Carroll County Indiana Sheriff’s Department, the FBI and many other police agencies say they have followed up on thousands of tips related to the murders. And authorities say each and every tip has been – and will continue to be – thoroughly investigated to determine any connection to the Delphi murder investigation.
Authorities say the 31-year-old Nations was homeless and living in Indiana under bridges about a two hour drive away from where the girls bodies were found. Two Indiana State Police detectives traveled to El Paso County, Colorado to comprehensively evaluate the possibility that Nations may have been involved in the killings. But at this time authorities say no information has been developed that would link Nations to the Delphi murders.
State Police add they remain hopeful that that someone will step forward with information that could help solve the murders. Anyone who would like to relay information to police working the case can either call 844-459-5786 or email your information to Abbyandlibbytip@cacoshrf.com.
