Former Danville mayor Scott Eisenhauer has returned to work as Rantoul Village Administrator, pending the outcome of a pending jury trial concerning domestic-battery charges filed against Eisenhauer from an alleged June 12th incident.
Eisenhauer was arrested following the alleged incident with his wife, and had turned in his resignation the following day. The Rantoul trustees, however, did not accept his resignation, and said they wanted more information, as well as a desire by some to await the outcome of the case.
Eisenhauer’s next scheduled court date in August 24th for a pretrial conference. He remains free on his own recognizance.
