This coming Saturday, August 26th; St. James United Methodist Church in Danville will be having their Rummage & Bake Sale, from 9 AM to 1 PM.
All during this week, Sun Aug 20th through Thurs Aug 24th, items for the rummage sale can be dropped off between 9 AM and 1 PM.
Although no clothing or large furniture items are being accepted, St. James’ Glenda Campbell gave Neuhoff Media some examples of items they have already received. This includes small furniture items like toy chests; and certainly lots of items focusing on children, especially books.
AUDIO: We have tables full of toys and gardening things. (We have) lawn chairs, we have lamps, we have glassware, we have dishes. We have small electronics. We have some small things of shelves; puzzles and games. About anything you can think of that you think would sell and people would donate money for. A lot of Christmas, a lot of fall, and Easter; and seasonal type things.
To drop items off, just stop by the under cover door facing to the north, in the St. James United Methodist Church parking lot just off Walnut Street. Both the Rummage and Bake Sale this Saturday will be cash only.
