The Vermilion County Board has agreed to help a Danville business expand. The board approved a lease agreement with Vermilion Valley Produce during its meeting last evening (Tuesday) for use of some parking spots at the Vermilion County Health and Education building.
The company is proposing a 4,000 square foot expansion at its present location along South Street in Danville. Vicki Haugen, President of Vermilion Advantage, told the Board that her office is thrilled the company decided to make its $400-thousand dollar expansion at that location.
The Board also heard from Vermilion County Health Department Administrator Doug Toole. He said there would still be plenty of parking spaces available to meet the needs of employees and clients.
