Former Danville mayor and current Rantoul village administrator Scott Eisenhauer will have an opportunity to retain his position in Rantoul through a Champaign County second-change program.
This county program requires Eisenhauer to pay a $100 fine, complete an online education course on conflict resolution, and perform 15 hours of public service.
If Eisenhauer is able to complete the online course within 60 days, as well as meet the other two requirements, his domestic violence case stemming from an incident at his Rantoul home in June would be dismissed at a hearing scheduled for November 2nd. Any additional incidents, or failing to complete the requirements, would cause the prosecution to continue on the misdemeanor charges.
