An investigation is getting underway into what caused a fire that destroyed a vehicle and heavily damaged a car detailing shop in Danville Thursday afternoon (July 19, 2018).
Assistant Danville Fire Chief Todd Spicer says the original alarm said there was a car on fire at the 1st Klass Auto Detailing shop in the 900 block of North Bowman….
Firefighters had to battle the flames in 85-degree weather….
The flames destroyed a late-model SUV and heavily damaged the rear of the business, but there were no injuries. Normally heavy traffic on Bowman had to be detoured around the area.
