Aqua Illinois Water Company has launched a new customer assistance program designed to help those who are threatened with having their service disrupted. Aqua Area Manager Bob Ervin says the program is called ‘Aqua Aid….
The program is run with donations, and Ervin says some local Aqua employees have stepped up to help….
And Ervin adds one-hundred percent of the money donated goes directly to those in need. And the contributions are tax deductible.
The request for assistance is placed through Aqua Illinois which then pre-screens candidates. If approved, credits are applied electronically to the customer’s account.
