State Representative Mike Marron is setting priorities as he settles into office representing Illinois’ 104th House District….
Some of Marron’s other priorities include mental health and agriculture – which he says is a subject near and dear to his heart and part of his roots. Marron is a Fithian area farmer. He and former Representative Chad Hays were guests on WDAN Radio’s Newsmakers program Tuesday.
Hays noted that it was Marron and Congressman John Shimkus who spearheaded the effort to land the former federal building – where county offices are now located….
Hays left the Illinois General Assembly a little before his current term would have ended in order to accept a new job. He is now the Executive Director of Crosspoint Human Services.
