The 44th Annual Vermilion River Fall Festival is being held Friday through Sunday at Danville’s Ellsworth Park. It appears the weather is going to cooperate beautifully for the festival which runs from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday (September 16th).
Danville Recreation Manager Cindy Parson says some new things have been added this year – including an escape room….
Parson says this year’s arts and craft vendors will have a wide variety of items on display and for sale…
Since this is the 44th year of the festival we asked Parson what she thinks keeps it going…
This year there will be over 100 vendors – including arts and crafts and commercial vendors, along with those selling food. And the public can also enjoy free entertainment all weekend long…beginning Friday evening.
Ellsworth Park is located on Danville’s west side, just off U.S. route 150.
