The Seven Point of Illinois Cannabis Dispensary remains under construction; at 380 Eastgate Drive, on the west side of Lynch Road. CEO Brad Zerman says the hope is to have the state inspection taken care of by early April; and then have the doors opened by around April 15th, just in time for the April 20th “4-20” cannabis holiday.
Zerman says the idea to make music a big part of the Seven Point atmosphere in Danville continues to grow. Along the main wall he’s planning for different genres of music on vinyl, in between different product displays.

Zerman says the room off to the right as you enter will probably start off as a cafe, but he’d love to receive approval for a consumption lounge someday. And there is already a drive-up window area pending possible approval of drive-thrus at cannabis dispensaries by Illinois legislators. In the meantime, Zerman says if you’re a little bit shy when you first come to Seven Point of Illinois; all you’ll need to do is pick up packaging that’s on display, and an educational screen will immediately give you product information.
AUDIO: You’re going to be able to pick up the empty packaging in the store, and learn about it on our monitors. So if you’re just turning 21, or if you are new to cannabis, you don’t have to feel uncomfortable talking to a dispensary agent about that; and you can just research on your own very easily.
