A special program is scheduled for 1 to 3 PM this Saturday, March 2nd, in the STEP Recovery Center at 2500 Georgetown Road in Danville. Center CEO Wendy Lambert says the guest speaker will be Jill Duden, the Central Region Prevention Specialist for Prevent Child Abuse Illinois.
Lambert says there will be discussion about an important study; and what has been learned since then.
AUDIO: It’s a free training that introduces the attendees to the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study that was done in the late 90s. The training will explore, for example, a deeper understanding of brain development.
This free program is open to the pubic; snacks and beverages will be provided.
