Vermilion County offices remain open but the general public is being asked to refrain from going there. County Board Chairman Larry Baughn says the County is attempting to comply with calls from the State and Federal Government for social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic.
Now that the election is behind us, Baughn is asking the public to enter its buildings for essential business only. Any business that can be done via phone or email citizens are being asked to complete their business using those means.
Vermilion County offices can be found at http://www.vercounty.org. Judicial information can also be found at that site. And Baughn adds the general public should not hesitate to phone appropriate offices.
