COVID-19 Update – Saturday, May 30

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported the seven-day rolling positive test rate dropped to seven percent after 1,462 new COVID-19 cases were registered Saturday. The state also reported 61 new deaths. State totals increased to 118,917 cases including 5,330 deaths. Laboratories reported processing 25,343 tests in the previous 24 hours for a total of 877,105. Every Illinois county except Scott has reported at least one COVID-19 case.
