Lollapalooza 2020 announced its virtual lineup Monday (July 27th). The four-day music festival will feature a mix of original and throwback performances that will stream for free on YouTube.
The event will kick off at 5p.m. CT on July 30th and feature past Lollapalooza performances from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ellie Goulding, Run The Jewels, Lorde, Alabama Shakes, Tove Lo, Paul McCartney, Chance The Rapper, OutKast, and Arcade Fire.
There will also be new, original performances from Yungblud, ZHU, H.E.R, and Louis The Child, among others.
Additionally, Lollapalooza founder and Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell will host conversations with Lars Ulrich, Chuck D, Matt Pinfield and others. He’ll also lead a special Kind Heaven Orchestra performance featuring Taylor Hawkins, a David Bowie tribute with pianist Mike Garson, and the first Porno for Pyros reunion in 24 years.
Lollapalooza 2020 Was originally scheduled to take place at Chicago's Grant Park. The annual event typically draws about 100,000 people each year.
